For someone who is obsessed with make up, I love getting the chance to try new products that I have seen many other Bloggers and Youtubers talk about. For instance Maybelline's Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation. I have seen this foundation making the rounds over in America, New Zealand and Australia for some time now and have been dying the try it myself! With many other people raving about it I had very high hopes for this "drugstore" foundation and I have to stay it honestly didn't disappoint!
I have been trying this foundation out for about a month now and it hasn't left my make up bag once! Its matte and high coverage which I love in a foundation but it doesn't make your skin look flat or cakey! Most importantly it doesn't cling to any dry patches you might have which for me is amazing since I have dry skin. Can I just add that this foundation only cost me £5.99!
It hands down beats my MAC Fix Fluid and MUFE Ultra HD Foundation, I honestly can't see myself repurchasing them any more! This one just applies so much easier, I find using a damp Beautyblender to be the most flawless and quickest way. It certainty lasts a lot longer on me than them two, I don't find myself having to powder as often either! I know with this foundation I can go to work at 9 in the morning and when I finish at 5 it will still be there on my face, looking more than half decent without any touch ups!
The only things that I was little disappointed with was that the packaging seems to be different to the American one, we have it in a tube whilst they have it in a bottle. Obviously it makes no difference to the product itself but I just think it looks a little cheap. Also the thing I can see people having the biggest problem with is the shade range. I'm quite pale, NW13 in MAC, and the lightest shade which I could find, 105 Natural Ivory, I can only just get away with. They seemed to have only brought out 6 shades which is disappointing as they don't cater to really pale skin or darker skin at all so I'm really hoping they bring out more!
If you're in the market for a new foundation, I honestly think this is worth checking out and trying if you can find your shade! x
