Back To MAC

I've been saving my MAC empties for a while now and with my recent depotting of my MAC blushes I ended up with enough for 2 back to MAC. If any of you don't know what that it is, its basically a recycling scheme MAC have that if you save 6 empties you can trade for a free lipstick of your choice. The scheme does rule out Viva Glam lipsticks and those that are part of new collections. Its a great scheme really! I thought i'd share which 2 I ended up going for!

When it comes to liquid lipsticks I'm always on the hunt for new brands, so when there is hype around a company i want to be the first trying their products! Jeffree Star was one of the brands that's recently gained a lot of popularity over the last year, so over time I've ordered a few and thought I'd give my honest opinion on them all!

Morphe Brushes Haul

Just before payday I was having a browse on BeautyBay as I like to treat myself just before I get paid again as I know that all my money will go on bills etc... This time around I really wanted to get some more make up brushes as you can never have too many in my opinion. One of my favourite brands for eye-shadow brushes has to be Morphe Brushes! The quality you get for the price you pay is amazing!

Becca Moonstone

When it comes to highlighters I was very late on the hype with them. From when I first started falling in love with make up I was never about the glow, it was all about the matte life for me, so no sheen or shimmer came near my face unless it was on my eyes! Things have changed now and I love highlighters but I do struggle finding shades that suit my pale skin! A lot that are on the market and hyped about I find too dark for my skin or I just don't get on with them.

For a while now I've been eyeing up the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector's but have never committed to buying one because of the price tag! I recently had the chance to swatch them in person and from then on I knew it would be worth investing. Just from swatching in store I could see how well formulated they were, super buttery and very pigmented!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation

For someone who is obsessed with make up, I love getting the chance to try new products that I have seen many other Bloggers and Youtubers talk about. For instance Maybelline's Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation. I have seen this foundation making the rounds over in America, New Zealand and Australia for some time now and have been dying the try it myself! With many other people raving about it I had very high hopes for this "drugstore" foundation and I have to stay it honestly didn't disappoint!

Perfect Peachy Nude Lip

When it comes to lipstick i'm the play it safe kind of girl who has a million different nude shades which are only a smidge different but worth still having anyway! Every time I buy a new lipstick my boyfriend's first comment is always "That looks exactly like the last 3 you bought!" and hes not wrong!

I really struggle finding pink and peach lipstick shades that actually suit me! I'm not sure whether its a mix of being extremely pale and having bright red hair that just makes some shades look a bit iffy on me. I told myself that this summer I wanted to find myself my perfect peachy shade lipstick and I think I just did!

Cosmetic Company Outlet Haul

Recently me and my boyfriend when on a short trip to Chester for his birthday as we both really love it there. Its such a nice place and I live for the shopping! There's Chester city centre then there's also Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet with the Coliseum retail park around the corner. So there's definitely plenty of shopping opportunities! My favourite being the Designer Outlet.

The only reason I love the Designer Outlet so much is for the Cosmetic Company Outlet! If you don't know what it is, its owned by the Estee Lauder company so sells brands by them for discounted prices i.e Mac, Clinique and Origins... I think there is only three of these shops floating around the UK. So i definitely wasn't planning on missing out on shopping in one!

Depotting MAC Blushes

For some time now I've been wanting to create my own blush palette but have been too scared of depotting the blushes I already own. When researching into it I heard from many people it was no where near as easy as depotting eye shadows, with the pans being bigger and the product tends to be thinner so are more prone to cracking or crumbling! After putting it off for ages and storing all my blushes becoming more difficult I decided to just go for it!

Now let me tell you it was probably the most nerve racking experiences and fiddly moments of my life! Once the top pan was popped out of the packaging it was pretty simple step wise to do, it just took a lot of time and patience.
