Current Eyebrow Routine

When doing my make up, my eyebrows were something I always struggled most with. Since getting them done at the Benefit Brow Bar i'm actually enjoying doing them more. I got a completely new shape and colour, my brows are now a lot darker. This meant I had to switch up what products I was using and I think I've finally found a combination that works!

I had seen on Instagram that someone was using MAC's Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Tailor Grey for their brows and I happened to have this in my make up collection so I thought I'd give it a go and i'm so glad I did! I wouldn't say that its grey like the name would suggest, its more of a cool toned neutral brown which is a perfect match for my brow colour. I use this to fill in the outline of my brows and create more of an arch on the brow where I lack the hairs. I make sure that i'm not too heavy handed towards the front of my brows as I like my brows to look natural and not too overdone. Then with what ever product is left on my Tarte angled brush, I run it through the brow to fill the centre a bit more. You do have to be light handed with this as otherwise it can look a little clumpy but if that happens I just run a spoolie through them and it gets rid of it.

If i'm short on time or I've just had my brows freshly tinted I sometimes use my little benefit goof proof pencil in shade 6. This is actually a little dark for me which is why I can only get away with it when my brows are freshly tinted, but it is such an easy pencil to use. With the shape of the nib its easy to shade in the majority of my brow in one go but I can also get precision for the tail of my brow with it. The pencil for me is just a lot easier so if i'm running late, its perfect just to quickly use!

Since the paint pot and pencil can be quite heavy on my brow and flattens the hairs down I like to use the Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium Deep over top, This just brings back the texture of the actual hairs whilst setting them into place. It also helps fill in any little gaps that I might of missed towards the tail of the brow making that area look even fuller!

For me this is the best way to fill in my brows, the colour is perfect and they're just so much easier to fill in! I wouldn't so my brows are "on fleek" but they are the best they've ever looked! x
